She is a trained cross-cultural psychologist and an interactive arts-therapist in Russia. She pioneered the field of psychology between Russia, Japan and the U.S. by combining the methodology (zone of proximal development) introduced by L.S. Vygotsky and an unique pictogram technique developed by a group of psychologiest in Russia. She received a BA in general psychology from Moscow State University, and Ph.D. from Russian State Humanitarian University and Moscow City Institute of Psychology and Pedagogy. She regularly performs experimental music as part of the "Pan Asian Ensemble Group" at Moscow Conservatory. She extensively traveled to India, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Japan, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Italy, Egypt.
